Grace Under Pressure Radio to start Aug 3rd!

Grace Under Pressure podcast promo cartoon

Grace Under Pressure Podcast is getting closer!

It’s been over a year in the incubation! Lots of prayer and planning. But finally the time is near…

Grace Under Pressure Radio with Angela Breidenbach will air its first broadcast Aug. 3rd on iTunes, with an easy to find link I’ll post right here each week! Prizes galore during the show launch too!

What’s it about? How to become a woman of courage, confidence, and candor.

Why? Because we have dreams, goals, and a purpose. Life can beat us down and get in the way. Sometimes we can get in our own way! But the key is learning the skills of courage, confidence, and candor. Stay tuned for fun opportunities to be involved, subscribe to the weekly show, hear other women’s stories of overcoming and how they handled challenging problems, and learn how to gain the skills of courage, confidence, and candor.

Where? Right here or on iTunes.

When? Weekly on Tuesdays so you have it for commuting, workouts, or anytime you have during your week.

Bonuses? You bet! As Grace Under Pressure builds up shows for your listening enjoyment, there’ll be special feature bonus shorts on related topics.

How? You’ll be able to subscribe and review the show and receive some thank you gifts! More on those in coming days.

Mastering Goodreads

Please welcome Diana Lesire Brandmeyer, guest posting on the class she’ll be teaching next month at the MT Pages Retreat…

Have you heard?

Readers hang out on GoodReads! Readers that take the time to review books, hang out and talk about characters and stories? It wouldn’t be a surprise to me if you typed in the comments, “Sure I know that, but I’m an author and I can’t post about my books. If I do I get an angry note from the group moderator.”

So how can you get those book reviews if you can’t ask for them? Or how do you get those marvelous breakdown conversations about how your heroine should have chosen the blue dress because the yellow one wouldn’t look good with her hair color?

You may have heard how readers on Goodreads pushed that “50 shades of something” into the number one spot and you’ve tried but nothing is happening. GoodReads has a wealth of opportunities for authors if you know where to look and how to post.

Here’s a simple thing you can do right away:

Answer the polls and like the quotes. When you do that, your photo icon-you do have one, right?-will show up in your friend and followers newsfeeds. That brings the focus to you as a reader. Unpaid advertising when they click on your face and it takes you to your GoodReads authorpage!

Want to learn about giveaways, groups and reviews? In the Mastering Goodreads Workshop at the Montana Writer’s Retreat we’ll be looking at ways to get noticed, get read and get reviews.*

Please join us at the Montana Writer’s Retreat Aug. 7-Aug. 9, 2015 where learning is causal, brainstorming with others, and yes, food and fun.

*Please note we are not guaranteeing your success or the number one spot on the NYT bestseller list. You will learn how to use Goodreads effectively as a reader and an author.

Bio: Christian author, Diana Lesire Brandmeyer, writes historical and contemporary romances.
