While visiting with The Vine Bookstore during a live video hangout, I promised a few photos of the true, behind-the-scenes people and artifacts from the Bridal Whispers novella Included in Barbour Publishing’s romance collection, Lassoed by Marriage. Here they are 🙂

Swedish amethyst handblown glass pitcher. Moor-moor’s inheritance. Circa 1850s, Sweden. Because the design was stolen, according to a Swedish museum, it’s not worth high value. But to me it’s priceless!
My grandma graduated 8th grade when she was 21. She went on to high school and nursing trade school!
A little closer look. Grandpa is in the suit. He’s very handsome 🙂
My grandparents wedding photo.
Grandpa farming, 10 years after marrying my grandma.
My grandma kept nursing and eventually graduated with higher degrees.
I believe this is their 25th anniversary.
My Swedish great-grandma is the girl standing on the right. Her parents are seated. Sven is the one with the farming name attached, but I found the farm in way northern Sweden on an island…Skomakare Sven Kjell.
Grandpa’s clock, marked made in Oct. 1888
Me and Moor-moor. I think I was 8-ish. I think it was her birthday.
Oh! And my grandpa’s church…they really never did attend one another’s churches. He was Methodist and she was Lutheran, attending a Swedish speaking church. But, in their elder years, when Grandpa stayed home, they loved watching Calvary Chapel on TV in the living room. I often watched with them and attended youth events there sometimes.
